In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF is a medical procedure used for infertility treatment or difficulties in conception. It involves stimulating the ovaries to produce multiple eggs, retrieving and fertilizing them with sperm in a lab, and implanting the resulting embryos into the uterus.

Symptoms of Infertility That May Require IVF:

• Inability to conceive after one year of trying (or six months for women over 35).
• Irregular or absent menstrual cycles, indicating ovulation problems.
• History of recurrent miscarriages.
• Severe pelvic pain or uterine disorders.

Causes of Infertility That May Require IVF:

• Ovulation Disorders: Such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or premature ovarian failure.
• Blocked Fallopian Tubes: Preventing sperm from reaching the egg.
• Low Sperm Count or Poor Sperm Quality: Affecting fertilization success.
• Uterine Problems: Including fibroids or a thin endometrial lining.
• Unexplained Infertility: When no clear cause is identified.
