Professor Ashraf Kamal Abdullah is one of the leading specialized doctors in the field of laparoscopic surgery, general surgery, and gastrointestinal surgeries in Egypt and the Arab world. He has earned this reputation due to his extensive experience, scientific standing, professional competence, multiple research contributions, and his excellent reputation among his patients, who have had previous experiences with him, testifying to his success and excellence.

He has been a professor of surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University since 2008. He is a member of the European Association for Laparoscopic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a senior consultant classified by the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
