Dr. Mohamed Maher is a physician and healthcare management expert with more than 12 years of experience across healthcare operations, executive management, strategic planning, financial performance, service development, and multidisciplinary team leadership. With a medical background combined with extensive managerial experience, Dr. Maher has developed a strong ability to understand healthcare organizations from both clinical and business perspectives. This dual perspective has supported his work in managing healthcare facilities, improving operational performance, developing policies and processes, optimizing patient experience, and aligning clinical quality with financial and organizational sustainability. Throughout his career, Dr. Maher has held several senior leadership positions, including Hospital Director, Area Director of Operations, and Managing Director. In these roles, he has been responsible for overseeing healthcare facilities, managing teams and budgets, implementing operational strategies, monitoring performance indicators, improving efficiency, and coordinating between medical and administrative departments. His experience in Egypt’s Red Sea region has also given him valuable exposure to healthcare delivery in tourism-driven destinations. He has managed healthcare services serving both local and international patients in environments where rapid response, operational flexibility, service quality, and patient satisfaction are particularly important. This has provided him with practical insight into the intersection between healthcare delivery, tourism, international patient services, and medical tourism. In addition to his executive background, Dr. Maher has significant experience in healthcare entrepreneurship and the development of new healthcare ventures. He has participated in founding and leading multiple healthcare initiatives and companies, including Vividwell for Medical Services and NexaHealth, while also contributing to the development of digital healthcare and remote medical consultation models. A key area of his expertise is transforming healthcare concepts into practical and scalable operating models. His work spans market assessment, service model design, workforce planning, operational structure, policies and procedures, financial planning, performance management, and continuous improvement. Dr. Maher also brings strong capabilities in strategic planning, budgeting, negotiation, executive management, operational improvement, team building, healthcare business development, and performance optimization. His approach focuses on achieving a balance between clinical quality, patient-centered care, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability. He has a particular interest in modern healthcare delivery models, digital transformation, and the use of technology to improve access, efficiency, and patient journeys. Dr. Mohamed Maher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from Assiut University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Paris ESLSCA Business School, providing him with a strong academic foundation that bridges medicine, management, and business strategy.
